Why did I ever make one of these? I never use it.
Went to the White Mountains up in New Hampshire and climbed a few peaks. Got home for a day to wash clothes and to work, then left the next day for Germany/Austria/Hungary/Czeck Republic. Fun time. Now I'm cleaning my room. Enjoy.
Tribute to...
She's yours for tonight
in front of the man
the violin sings for you
Dance for life
dance with soul
from your bodies energy flows
Be amazed she's still with you
be stunned she hasn't run
she's a gypsy
But tonight she's yours
in front of the man
the violin sings for you

My tele came today. It's amazing! But unfortunately finals are stopping me from playing it. I had Mell's and Clemson's final today. Mell's was easy..Clemson's was alright. I think I did well on it..I'll see tomorrow.
Things have been alright. I wish I could have what I want...and to know what I want...
So give me coffee and TV..peacefully
I've seen so much I'm going blind
And I'm brain-dead virtually
Sociability
is hard enough for me
Take me away from this big bad world
and agree to marry me
so that we can start all over again.
Wyeth saw a ladybug get eaten by a bird today. That bird flew into a Cherry Maple and displaced a bee who stung the dog rolling in the grass. Wyeth cut the grass and saw a ladybug on a green blade...

School's pretty much over. Just the finals left. Physics tomorrow should be easy, Mell's is a joke, and Clemson's will be a bitch. Same with Rivera. The German 4 final seems like it'll be pretty simple, so I've got 2 finals where I'll actually have to study.
The Board meeting last night was looooooooooooooonngggg. 7-10:30. Way too long, and mostly about class rank. It nearly became a brawl it was that bad. It seemed like Brian Foley was the only one who wanted to keep the weighting the way it is now. Most of the students there, and I think 95% of the adults, wanted it to be adjusted. Brad, Ashley, and Kelly are trying to make it 1.10 for Honors and 1.15 for AP classes. The only reason Brian is trying to keep it the way it is is because he played the system the whole time the weighting's been changed; he doesn't want to get screwed over because he took College Prep so that he could get on top. I don't blame him for fighting to keep it, but I honestly don't feel bad for him. When I hear "Honors" I think top-notch. When I hear "College-Prep" I think exactly what it is, preparation for college (for the majority of people). If you want to be the top of the class you should be in Honors where you actually need to work and be smart in order to succeed. Manipulating the system so that you can glide through school and be considered number one in the class will just screw you over in college. Hell, you probably won't even get into a top of the line college. And when you get to college, you'll be behind so many other people there because you took the easy way out and didn't learn as much as you need. I'm sorry, but the weighting should be changed. A kid who takes all Honors/AP classes and gets A's shouldnt be behind someone who takes a majority of College Prep classes. If a CP kid gets a 100 in each of his classes the Honors student would need to get a 97 in each subject to match the CP's score. And we all know, CP is no where CLOSE to the difficulty of an Honors or AP class. Yet even with all this, the Board seems to be hesitant in changing the weighting to 1.10 and 1.15. And for all the juniors, this change in weighting needs to occur before June 30th, unless that deadline is pushed back, because June 30th is when our transcipts turn official. That means we have to use that transcript with screwed up class ranks when applying to colleges.
Anyway, Honors band recital tonight. Show starts at 6:00...no idea when I'm on. I'm somewhere in the middle. Brad, Steve, and I are playing two songs from 1948: the first one is cool, and the second one is really weird.

Been thinking about you, your records are here, your eyes are on my wall, your teeth are over there. But I'm still no-one, and you're now a star, what do you care?
Been thinking about you, and there's no rest, shit I still love you, still see you in bed. But I'm playing with myself, and what do you care when the other men are far, far better.
All the things you've got, all the things you need, who bought you cigarettes, Who bribed the company to come and see you honey?
I've been thinking about you, so how can you sleep? These people aren't your friends, they're paid to kiss your feet. They don't know what I know and why should you care when I'm not there.
Been thinking about you, and there's no rest, should I still love you, still see you in bed. But I'm playing with myself, what do you care, when I'm not there.
All the things you've got, she'll never need, all the things you've got. I've bled and I bleed to please you.
Been thinking about you.

Hell yeah man! I just bought a tele off of ebay for $700; it should have been $1,000+ with everything it comes with. Stock telecasters with a simple paint job cost $829ish, add the 3-tone sunburst on mine and that's around $879, add the gold pick-guard and have something around $929, then the custom Special Texas Tele pickups it should be $979, then finally, the hard-case, which will top the $1,000 mark. Really, it was $675 for the guitar, $25 for shipping/handling. Anyway...that's an amazing deal for an amazing guitar! (Same guitar Johnny Greenwood of Radiohead uses except his is just a plain white pick-guard and different pickups).
For the National Honors Society election, I ran for Vice President, Treasurer, and Historian...and didn't win any. Haha. But there were some other people who ran for a lot of things and didn't win any.
I'm about halfway done with Rivera's 155 definitions of Hell that aren't in any order, and I only have a handful of ideas for her essay. I haven't even started typing up my Physics lab yet either. And of course this weekend I plan on going to the Deer head tonight, work tomorrow morning from 9-12, go to Sarah Veety's to see this band Tea at night sometime, hike Sunday morning, go to the Hosko's cabin, march in the parade Monday, then go back to the cabin to help clean. I think I'm a bit screwed.

Today was a long one.
The day started with the Hosko's picking me up pretty late..
the car clock said 7:21 when we finally parked at the stadium.
Then in Physics Doney said I was called down, yet again,
to the office. So I waited in line only to be told they forgot to cross my name off the list from yesterday.
Yesterday I was called down because Devivo marked me absent unexcused last Thursday (Fun
& Fitness). I wasted the majority of first period standing in line.
At the end of 2nd period the Physics kids met at the bus
platform and we went to Dorney. It was a blast! I was with mah Cheech, Minda,
Egli, BJ, Nate, Megan, and
we also met up with Check's group, but I don't know
all their names. It rained for the first half of the day, and
our faces were pelted painfully by the rain drops when we went on Steel Force.
Never ride a roller coaster in
the rain. Yetter left right as it was starting to get sunny.
Hydra is a cool new ride; it's where Hercules used to
be. All in all it was a great time, I was hyper all day. I think people were entertained...they seemed to be.
After Dorney I came home only to leave and take myself
and Cheech to see Star Wars Episode III. Cheech was
seeing the 7:45 and originally Brad, Andy, Hosko, Jenna, Nicole, and I were going to see the 8:15 but there were no
seats, so we saw the 8:45. We met up with Missy and her
cousin Dave. We managed some good viewing seats. Star
Wars was really well done, except for one of the very last scenes with Yoda
and Obi-wan; Yoda mentioned something
about immortality and teaching Obi-wan how to communicate
with Qui-gon..but it never happened and A New Hope doesn't
show Qui-gon at all..so there's just a big gap there.
I'm beat...here's some departing lyrics
Drink up baby, look at the stars
I'll kiss you again, between the bars
Where I'm seeing you there, with your hands in the air
Waiting to finally be caught.

So yeah, interesting cartoon: http://weebls-stuff.com/toons/59/ Strawberry Pancakes, man. Strawberry pancakes. (It's funny, yet incredibly stupid.)
Jazz band is weird this year. I love playing jazz music, but for some reason this year just blows. We have some fun songs, but there's just something missing; maybe it's Wygant, maybe it's us, or maybe it just isn't fun because of the lack of gigs. I don't know. Oh yeah, he bitched at the trombones for not emphasizing beat 2 and 4 in the song Steppin' at a certain part, except, Brad and I both did it...if we emphasis it anymore it'll sound horrible and corny. Whatever.
Annnnyyyway....I pirated a good amount of music tonight: a couple Oasis CD's, some Muse, Dispatch, and Frou Frou. Good stuff, good stuff. Oh yeah, I also got Audacity, some program that'll help me record. Should be fun to tweak with that..it was free so it probably won't be too great, but it'll be better than Window's Sound Recorder. That's just crap...well...it takes too much effort to get what you want and hard to manipulate.
I have no idea what to do for Mell's documented essay. Help me.
Wyeth dropped off some pigeons; he said they were O.K. He found them on a wrecked car near an old, mangled, healthy Oak. A leaf fell on his shoulder and shattered and he understood that the pigeons must be carried away. He followed the road into town, and his hair faded...

Blues Brothers was awesome! Center section, row A, seat 16.....glorious! Definately enjoyed the dancing up on stage thing. After the show was a blast...and Friendly's is an asshole; an asshole that closes before 11:00. That's right, F you Friendly's! Perkins is where it's at! Especially with Brad and I's antics..like the cherry.
I'm tired...
I take one, one, one cause you left me and
two, two, two for my family and
three, three, three for my heartache and
four, four, four for my headaches and
five, five, five for my lonliness and
six, six, six for my sorrow and
seven, seven, no tomorrow! and
eight, eight, I forget what eight was for! and
nine, nine, nine for a lost god and
ten, ten, ten for everything, everything everything!
Well you can all just kiss off in the air,
behind my back I can see that stare.
They'll hurt me bad but they do it all the time.

Class speeches today were quite interesting. Ray made some great points in his
speech, and Richard's seemed to scripted and not real. Abby's, well, she just was
completely hypocritical saying how she wasn't going to discredit any of the other
candidates but at the end she rambled on about how she has always run for class
president and never left us for things such as academics, activities, or anything else. In
other words, she discredited her opponents.
Go Ray!
So I might be getting surgery for my knee. Doc Barnes said that the only way I'd be
able to get my knee to feel better is to get surgery. But I need to go to a different
doctor, because he can possibly mend the meniscus by sewing the meniscus back
together; if the meniscus is too beat then they just cut the stuff right out. Having it
sewn back together would be the best for my knee, but it would take months of
recovery, and taking it out altogether will be only a few weeks of recovery but can lead
to arthritis when I'm older.
Wyeth is an interesting man, with his fluorescent hair, suspenders, and combat boots.
One with the outdoors, life, and punk rock, naturally, he's an environmental anarchist
who searches life for meanings; meanings such as: why are we here? where do we go
when we die? who killed JFK? where did the pink leaf go? how did my hair become
fluorescent? why am I discussing this with you? The man of intrigue....

So I've succumbed to the trend: I made a live journal. Übrigends, danke Wyeth.
Major Issues:
-Mell's documented essay
-Class rank bullshit
-And the Barnak/Straub feud
The essay, well that's just going to be annoying to write. Class rank has just screwed over Hagedorn, and Barnak and Straub are just ready to explode, and one awesome fight that could be.
You see that road?
Consider it crossed.
If you wanna find me,
I'm always somewhat lost.
